Recent storms swept through Clallam Bay, tearing shingles from the roof of the historic Keeper’s House at Slip Point. Without quick action, the exposed roof could have led to severe water damage and threatened the building’s structure.
Thanks to the rapid response of our dedicated volunteer contractor and a local roofing company, emergency repairs were completed right away—at a cost of $5,545. These repairs have safeguarded the Keeper’s House from further damage and preserved this important piece of our community’s history.
As a newly formed non-profit, the Clallam Bay Slip Point Lighthouse Keepers do not yet have the funds to fully cover this unexpected expense. Every contribution helps us protect and restore this treasured landmark for future generations.
