New bridge to Clallam Bay Beach

On behalf of the Visitor’s Center, we’re thrilled to share that the beach is, at last, easily accessible again!

After months of anticipation, the new ramp at the Clallam Bay Park bridge is officially complete, restoring convenient access from our downtown park straight to the beach. This project has been a true community effort, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome residents and visitors back to enjoy the shoreline.

We celebrated this milestone on Saturday, July 19th at noon with a red ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, and, of course, a walk down to the water.

A BIG thank you goes out to:

  • Don Crawford, Head of Clallam County Parks Department
  • Mike French, Clallam County Commissioner
  • Clallam County Lodging Tax Committee
  • Topper, for building the ramp
  • And all the community members whose support made this possible

This new ramp not only improves accessibility but also enhances the experience for everyone who loves our waterfront. Whether you’re here for a quiet stroll, a day of beachcombing, or to simply take in the view, we invite you to visit and enjoy Clallam Bay’s beautiful shoreline once again.

Come on down, explore the beach, and celebrate this exciting improvement to our town!
